What is pediatrics?

• Special training to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in children.

The types of pediatrics:

• Pediatric Cardiology: In charge of the heart
• Neonatology: In charge of the women’s pregnant
• Pediatric Neurology: In charge of the brain
• Pediatric Psychiatry: In charge of the health mental
• Pediatric Pneumology: In charge of the lungs

What is Cardiology?

• Is The Branch of medicine that is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart, blood vessels and the circulatory system. These diseases include coronary artery disease, heart rhythm problems and heart failure.

The diseases of the heart

• Coronary heart disease: It happens when the arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle harden and narrow. Happens accumulation of cholesterol.
• Arterial hypertension: it is a measurement of the force exerted against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps blood to your body.
• Cardiorespiratory arrest: is the sudden loss of cardiac function, respiration and consciousness

Why

• Because medicine is one of the careers that I have always liked, especially cardiology and pediatrics. Everything that is related to the heart and with children I have always liked, it has called me a lot of attention, that's why I would like to study cardiology and pediatrics. I want to help the persons who has problems with the heart, and help the children that are more sick in the world and don’t have the resources to go with a doctor. I think that if I study this two careers, I could make a change in the world.
