Is for Americans.
The Americans were the ones that had to fight against the British to get freedom from them. They were from the thirteen colonies. The Americans got the French to fight with them against the British.

Is for British.
The British had the best army in the world. They were led by King George the III.

Is for colonies.
The colonies were the areas that the British had control on. The thirteen colonies were New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

D IS FOR DELAWARE

George Washington rode across the Delawre to plan a surprise attack on the Hessians.

E IS FOR ETHAN ALLEN

The leader of the Green Mountain Boys group.

F is for French.
They had lost in the French and Indian war. They joined the Americans to defeat the British at the battle of Saratoga and Yorktown.

Is for Green Mountain Boys. The Green Mountain boys were a group of men who set it to fight against the British and captured their canons. They were led by Ethan Allen

H IS FOR HESSIANS

The hessians were army men payed to fight that the British have rule on. They were mostly Germans

I IS FOR INDEPENDANCE

The 13 colonies ahd gained independance from British and had their own free country.

Thomas Jefferson wrote the declaration of independence.

K IS FOR KING GEORGE III

King George ruled Britain and had power over the colonists.

L IS FOR MARY LUDWIG HAYS

She fought in the battle of Monmouth. Her name soon changed to Mary Pitcher.

M IS FOR MINUTEMEN

Minutemen are men who fought for the colonists. They can also get ready in a minutes notice

He was a patriot in the American revolution and drew the Boston Massacre.

The battle of Saratoga is when the Americans did a surprise battle on the hessians.

He was one of the founding fathers of the United States.
