DOES MEDICAL TESTING ON ANIMALS DO MORE HARM THEN GOOD?

PROS

• Helps learn new ways to cure diseases.
• Using animals does more good as when you test on animals and find a cure, it would not only go towards people, but to animals who have the same disease.
• There is more animals than people to experiment with than people such as cats, cows, dogs, pigs, rats etc..

CONS

• Animals react in different ways than humans not improving much of what the outcome will be.
• Over 100 million animals go through testing each year, 50% of the animals, die.
• We kill a countless amount of animals every day just so we can figure out if the products hurt us.

PROS

• Although it is unfortunate that animals must be used for testing, but there is no other valid alter alternative way.
• People are allowed to eat animals and use their skin for clothing, so it makes sense to use them for research.
• Animals are used daily to see if products are safe, such as skin and facial products, which people wear ofton.

CONS

• Many animals die each year from products that do not need to be tested.
• Animals are being tortured by us humans.
• Animals tests may mislead reasearchers into ignoring potential cures.
