In the beginning of Antigone a princess stood out from the rest of her kingdom for what she thought was right. This princesses name is Antigone. To support the claim, "That must be your excuse, I suppose. But as for me, I will bury the brother I love'..... 'Antigone, I am so afraid for you!'" This quote meaning that Antigone is going against her kingdom even though her sister Ismene warned her of the punishment to come.

In scene one a sentry told King Creon about the crime that he found. Someone had poured enough dirt on Polyneices for him to be considered "buried". was ranting about how someone had broken the law even though he had not yet known who it was that broke it. In the script the sentry tells King Creon,"Well, then;--- The dead man--- Polyneices--- out there--- someone,--- new dust on the slimy flesh! Someone has given it burial that way, and Gone..." What the sentry is trying to tell the King is that someone had buried Polyneices even though the King had laid down a law saying no one was to bury Polyneices.
