  • Some autotrophs make their food by using the Suns energy like plants
  • Other autotrophs use the energy from chemical substances in their environment.

  • Some Heterotrophs can not make their own food and get their energy by consuming other organisms or the food that the other organism makes.
  • They can consume many different kinds of foods from milk to meat.
