ANALYSIS
This book was recommended by my sister
My favorite character is Mafatu because he is very resourceful like when he set a trap to kill a wild pig
My least favorite characters are Mafatu's friends because they made fun of him
My favorite episode is when Mafatu returned home with courage and was no longer afraid
I learned to be brave and conquer your fears
9.
PART TWO
When Mafatu Ignores the mean boys it encourages you to not listen to unkind words
Yes I liked this book because at the end people don't make fun of Mafatu
My least favorite part is when Mafatu's mom brought him up to shore and died
10.
PART THREE
I found the grammar was easy to follow but the language gave different words such as feke - octopus Marae - a secret place Maui - god of the fishermen
11.
CONCLUSION
I enjoyed reading this book I would read it again
I recommend this book to ages ten and older because of the violence
