License wise i would need a: Business license, Food Handling license! Building license, liquor license, and a Franchise or Trademark license. Certification shows professional competence, particularly for managers who learned their skills on the job. A plus is that the Restaurant Association Educational Foundation awards the Foodservice Management Professional designation to managers ho meet several criteria, including passing a written exam, completing coursework, and meeting experience requirements.
Long term work experience as a cook, waiter, waitress, or counter attendant is good to have.
An advancement for this occupation would be opening up another restaurant.

Technology will affect my restaurant b/c there will be Wi-Fi in my restaurant that will be free in the waiting and dining rooms. This will attract more customers. Technology will definitely be used to pay employees, manage finances and events etc.

I think that the biggest challenges of being a restaurant owner is making enough profit to pay my employees well, my bills and have a surplus of revenue so I may keep all my food fresh & supplies( equipment & technology) updated, expand my business and go on vacation w/ my friends & family whenever I choose.
The thing that interest me the most about my career is the fact that I can help people and influence the world if I am successful enough.
The only thing I don't like about my career is the extremely long hours ,but I'm willing to put in all the effort I need to succeed.
