Life and Dignity of the Human Person.
The Bible teaches us that the human life is sacred and holy. The Bible also teaches us to not take any part in deeds that will violate human life (5th Commandment). These acts include death penalty, euthanasia, war, and abortion.
1 John 3:1-2 See what love the Father has for us, that we should be called Children of God.

God calls us to have a family and to get married. We are called to bring not just lawful justice, but economic justice within our governments. We are to participate within our communities and accept anyone who is different within our community.

Rights and Responsibilities
All humans have rights and responsibilities that are given by God. As Catholics, we are to stand for and with rights and it is our responsibilities to protect them. We are to protect human life from any and all dangers and our governments are to lead us in achieving these tasks.
Leviticus 25:35 When someone is reduced to poverty, we have an obligation to help.

God wants us to put the needs of other people first. We are to treat the poor with kindness and protect the vulnerable. God wants to share our love with anyone in need.

Dignity of Work & the Rights of Workers.
In our society, the workers must serve the economy. Workers should be allowed to join unions and be able to stand for their rights as humans. Unfortunately, workers for big companies like Gap and Nike are forced to work in "sweatshops" where they're underpayed and hungry.

God made all humans to be a human family. God also made us to be brothers and sisters no matter of gender, race or religion. We are to promote justice and peace as children of God and not create war or take human life for the sake of any religion.

Care for God's Creation.
As Gods children, he calls us to be stewards of creation. Caring for the earth and God's creation is a standard of faith all must follow. Pope Francis made a speech to Congress to address the rates of global warming and will be making another speech in Paris about global warming and the World economy.
