Bridging the Gap

Solutions
Obama administration launched Connect Home in July 2015 to address the needs.

ConnectHome initiative plans to provide internet access to 275, 00 low-income households.

Corporations such as Comcast offer reduced price Internet service and computer equipment to low-come families.

In the Educational area, Mooresville Graded School District is forerunning digital conversion, while providing laptops for all students.

Is it our moral obligation as Educators, help bridge the digital divide gap? Why or why not.
