Pizarro's Voyage

In November 1530 Francisco Pizarro started his voyage. Pizarro went on 4 voyages He traveled through much of the Pacific coast of America along Peru. King Charles sponsored Pizarro's trip But he also offered him something a little more he offered him authority over any lands conquered during the venture.

SHIPS AND CREW MEMBERS
Francisco Pizarro sailed the pacific coast with one ship and a crew of about 180 men. Also on board he had 37 horses and 2 light cannons.

HARDSHIPS AND PROBLEMS

  • Starvation
  • Insects
  • Disease
  • Wounds inflected by the natives poisoned arrows

CAUSES

  • He wanted to fined riches
  • Athority over any lands conquered during the venture
  • Spreading catholicism
  • Technological and societal superiority - dad helped me come up with this

EFFECTS

  • Imperialism for Spain and the conquer of indigenous people
  • The spread of disease
  • Religion was spread
  • Indigenous- originating in a particular place

MY QUESTIONS

  • Did he have kid- He didn't have kids.
  • Did he have a wife- he never married
  • How did he pass- pizarrow died of multiple stab wounds in 1541
