Globalization is the connection of different parts of the world. Globalization results in the expansion of international cultural, economic, and political activities. History of globalization
Globalization sped up dramatically in the twentieth century with the proliferation of air travel, the expansion of free trade, and the dawn of the Information Age. Miles of fiber-optic cable now connect the continents, allowing people around the world to communicate instantly through the borderless World Wide Web.

How does is affect people?
We use World Wide Web every single day, to work, to communicate, marketing ,merchandise, food, etc.

Pros

  • Easier and cheaper international travel allows more people to work, study abroad, and take vacations around the world.
  • Countries can work together to solve crimes, prevent wars, provide aid in natural disasters, and work on issues like climate change.
  • Increased communication, which leads to greater access to knowledge and the sharing of ideas.
  • Companies from wealthy countries can build factories in poorer countries, providing jobs to people in poverty and lowering the price of goods.
