AND WHY THE NEED FOR IT HAS NEVER BEEN SO GREAT

STATISTICS

  • In 2013 in around 100 days about 3000 americans were shot to death
  • This is because killings by fire arms hit a high of 30 killings per day
  • In around five to ten years this is expected to be a sadly normal expectation
  • Over fifteen children were shot and killed in elementary school in 2012

THE NRA

  • Trying to disallow the U.S. to have stricter gun laws
  • The second amendment defenders
  • Trying to get arms legaly allowed for the Canadian populous
  • Refuse to speak with CBC on knowledge of illegal fire arms coming to Canada

HOW GUN CONTROL EFFECTS CANADA

  • Over 50% of illegal fire arms in Canada come from U.S.
  • If the NRA can stop the U.S. down sizing guns sales their support would helping them to come to Canada
  • The U.S. And Canada are trading partners and something like guns not being sold would hurt our economy

HOW THE U.S. IS CONTROLING GUNS

  • They track the guns and see which shop sells guns that end up in crimes
  • Currently trying to ban semi-automatic rifles
  • Are trying to get more support on making guns lisences better regulated and harder to get
