Gwinnett Technical College

Real. Relevant. Now
Welcome to Gwinnett Technical College!

Gwinnett Tech has been offering the highest level of hands-on work ready education in the metro area for over 30 years!

Does one size fit all?

* Does the (clothing) fit everyone?
*Does it fit well?
* Would you purchase it from a store and just "make it work?"

Unfortunately, while we would never just wear an article of clothing because it says "one size fits all," we will often encourage students to follow a "one size fits all mentality" when it comes to college.

"36% of students who enroll in bachelor's degree programs in the University System of Georgia do not graduate, and only slightly more than half graduate within six years."

The average graduation time for students at a 4 year college is 6.6 years!

63 % of GTC's students have "Some College" when they arrive, meaning that many of our students went to a four year university but never finished and are now coming to GTC for a career focused education

What if students chose the RIGHT path for them, rather than the regular path?

I tell students all the time that college is for everyone, but not every college is for every student.

Sometimes it is difficult to convince a student and even more so a parent, that an option besides the traditional path could be the best choice for them. So, here are some of the many reasons you can point to Gwinnett Tech as a great option for your seniors!
