Location of Jumano Indians

The Location of the Jumano Indians is located in the Mountains and Basins region, near El Paso, Texas.

The Jumano Indians used what are now called 'adobe' a house made out of mud. The Jumano are sedentary, mainly because it is difficult to constantly build houses.

What food do the Jumano eat?

The Jumano diet included deer, corn, cactus, rabbit, squash, beans, and nuts.

What made the Jumano tribe different?

The Jumano tribe didn't encourage their culture, instead they accumulated in various cultures and traditions.

COOL FACTS!
1. The Jumano tribe are great famers, hunters, and traders.

2. There are multiple types of Jumano tribes!

3. Even though they are great hunters, hardly any food comes there way.

4. The adobe houses we see today came to be from the Jumano.
