4. Room 4 - Art room with Diana

Before we begin:
- students will be divided into groups of 4-5 (mixed grades)
- Each group will spend 25-30 minutes in each room for each activity.
- when the bell rings, students will move on to the next station (class).
- Each room will include a teacher who is in charge.
- in the end of the day all students will meet in the social hall for presentation of their Tu B'shvat works and school wide singing will be held.

Group 1: Maddik, Charlotte, Anya, Eli, Ella and Pablo.
Group 2: Jacob, Yuval, Hugo, Samuel, Macey, Madison, Gideon.
Group 3: Avi, Emily, Bea, Charlie, Naomi, Rafi, Satchel.
Group 4: Yehuda Leib, Anna, Sophia, Declan, Zoe, Levi, Yonatan.

ROOM 1 - SALAD WITH DEBBIE

WHAT WE NEED?

• Big bowl
• Each student will bring 2 fruits
• Assigned fruits
• Grapes, apples, oranges, peaches, plums, raisins
• Pears, blueberries, strawberries

PROCEDURE

• Students will identify the names of the fruits on the table.
• Students will work together to make a fruit salad.
• Students will enjoy their salad while discussing the holiday of Tu B'Shvat.

ROOM 2 - BUTTON TREES WITH BRIAN

STUDENTS WILL MAKE A BUTTON TREE!

• This activity is good for fine motor skills and concentration.
• Students will use imagination to tell a story about their button tree.

MATERIALS NEEDED

• Tree printouts on hard paper.
• Lots of buttons in different shapes, colors, materials and sizes.
• Glue
• Markers
