  • Earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Bachelor of Science, and Doctorate Degree in Paris.

Why Is He Important?

  • Louis Pasteur came up with the food preparing process known as pasteurization; he also developed a vaccination for anthrax and rabies.

WHAT IS PASTEURIZATION?

  • Pasteur proved that bacteria were responsible for souring milk and alcohol.
  • So, he invented pasteurization; a process where bacteria were killed by boiling and cooling the liquid.
