WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
-PERU IS LOCATED IN SOUTH AMERICA, NORTH OF CHILE AND BOLVIA.

This flag was adopted in 1825
The colors of the flag symbolize the Inca and there lasting impact

The coastline is subtropical with little rainfall
The Andes provide a cool-to-cold climate with rainy summers
The eastern low lands have hot weather and rain all year

The population is 30.38 million people in 2013
Since 1960 the population has climbed 20 million
Peru has 13 million more people than it's neighbor Chile

The three official languages are Spanish, Quechua, and Aymara
Aymara is spoken by the people in the Andes
Quechua is a Native American language family spoken

Lomo Saltado is a very popular dish that is glutton free
This dish has Chinese and Peruvian ingredients

Another dish is Papa Rellena (stuffed potatoes)
This is made when you put beef and spices in the center and surround it with mashed potatoes

Peru was once part of the Inca empire
In 1821 Peru claimed its independence
The Spanish however where not defeated until 1824
Peru has a constitutional republic
In 1945 Peru broke away from the dictatorship and José Luis Bustamente y Rivero became president

Peru's culture is mainly rooted from Spanish traditions
People in Peru were bright colored dresses and most wore hats

-THIS LAND FORMED THE HEART OF THE INCA TRIBE AND HAS VERY FERTILE SOIL

This place is the birthplace of the Lima
It is surrounded by the government place
The first water fountain was built in 1578 and had three pipes that fell into a bowl
