PERIODIC TABLE

The periodic table is a list of all the chemical elements that exist in the universe that have been discovered by humans so far.
The periodic table categorizes and organizes elements according to the properties of their atoms.

MOLECULE

A molecule is formed when two or more atoms join together. These may be two of the same atom or two different atoms.

COMPOUND

A compound is formed when two or more DIFFERENT atoms join together. All compounds are molecules, but not all molecules are compounds.

COEFFICIENT

The number to the far right of a molecule that tells how many molecules there are.

SUBSCRIPT

The small number on the bottom right of an atom that tell how many atoms are in the molecule(s)
