  • they are usually tropical place

  • They contain more than half the earths plant and animal species.
  • They cover only 7% of the earth
  • They are very hot and humid so plants and animals must adapt to this

  • The toucan eats has up to 8 colors on its beak!
  • When toucans are babies they have spikes and pads on thier feet
  • it is in the ramphastidae famil
  • they can be up to 33-65 c
  • the female lays about 2-4 eggs a year

  • lemurs are about 2 feet (not including the tail)
  • they are located is several places in madagascar ranging from dry areas to rainforests
  • they eat fruit , leaves and small incects
  • the word lemur means spirits of the night
  • the smallest species waighs about 30 grams
