PENALTY

  • Simple possession: prison not more than three years and a fine of not less than $5,000
  • Possession with intent to distribute: not less than 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $4 million the prison term is increased to not less than 20 years and up to a life sentence where the crime resulted in death or serious bodily injury to another person.
  • It's not legal for prescription in the US.

HOW IT'S USED

  • Classified as a depressant
  • Ingested in pill form
  • Takes half an hour to take effect
  • Effects last 8-12 hours
  • Pill usually is put into drinks of unsuspecting victims
