SHOES FOR HAITI

Haiti is a poor country in Central America that is in need of many things. When I was six years old, I came up with an idea that I would someday help a country in need, and the first country I thought of was Haiti. So for my 7th birthday I asked all of my friends for shoes instead of presents. I got about 30 pairs of shoes and I donated them all to a charity bucket because I had no where to send them at the time. By the time I left the charity bucket, it was half full (when I got to the charity bucket, there was only one pair in it).

WHEN AND WHERE

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS ARE EXCEPTABLE

• New and gently used shoes are expected

WHAT ELSE

• I will also have a donation bucket where you can donate money to help buy more shoes and to help ship the shoes. I am hoping if this turns out to be a big success, that possibly we can expand and donate daily life supplies.

• IF YOU HAVE A PAIR OF SHOES JUST LYING AROUND AND YOU KNOW THAT NO ONE IS GOING TO WHERE THEM AGAIN... DONATE THEM
