CLAIM

No,teens should not be tried in adult court.

"It is simply not important if the children can be rehabilitated and fixed into not being repeat offenders.the obvious problem is trying minors as minors and not treating them in the same way for the same crimes is that rehabilitation will not fix these young criminals."

EVIDENCE 2👮

"But in a number of states, minors as young as 13 could be subjected to a waiver petition. And a few states allow children of any age to be tried as adults for certain types of crimes, such as homicide."

EVIDENCE 3👮

The juveniles is subject to more severe sentences, including life sentence."

EVIDENCE 4👮

"All crimes committed by juveniles should and must be treated in the same regard,if not to punish heinous acts, then to provide justice to the families of victims."

REASONS😄

  • If they are considered minor, then they should be treated as a minor.
  • It depends on the crime and how bad it is.but they still need to be punished in a fair way.
  • They still have a whole life ahead of them to be life sentance.
