SPAIN'S TRADITIONAL MUSIC

• Mostly a multi-faced 'mosaic' of cultures in Spain
• Lots of different and unique music

SPAIN'S TRADITIONAL DANCE

• In Cataluña there is over 200 types of dance
• The Jota is a dance usually between two people
• Flamenco is a type of music and dance with Jewish, Moorish, and Andulucían influences.

SPAIN'S TRADITIONAL FOOD

• The geography in Spain helps make the fresh food people use
• The Greek and Roman people left their love of wine in Spain which makes it popular there
• The Moors left a love of spices and other ingredients

NICARAGUA'S TRADITIONAL MUSIC

• The national instrument of Nicaragua is the marimba
• There is a strong Caribbean influence on the music
• Rhythms are intense and frenzied

NICARAGUA'S TRADITIONAL DANCE

• Interesting costumes are used with dances, such as hats, skirts, and headpieces
• Lots of ensemble choreography
• Many different dances and ways to dance

NICARAGUA'S TRADITIONAL FOOD

• Many interesting ingredients are used in different dishes
• Corn has a large basis for the foods
• One food is Tres Leches which is made up of milk, cream, and condensed milk which is where the name comes from.

• Nicaragua uses lots of choreography
• Nicaragua also uses costumes and headdresses

• Each have a different kind of food or drink they're known for/use a lot

• Both are also surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean
