  • Plath lost her father when she was eight due to diabetes
  • Plath attempted suicide due to depression in 1953
  • Plath married Ted Hughes, June 16, 1956
  • First collection of poems, Colossus, published in 1960.
  • In 1960 and 1962 Plath had two children named Frieda and Nicholas.
  • Plath died February 11, 1963 due to suicide

Carbon Monoxides, by eyes talks about what comes out of cars because the fog was in the sky. Oh my God, what am I is her asking a question of why do I deserve this. Cry open most likely talks about the grief she was in.
