  • His music talked about police brutality, fascism, and inner city life

  • He had a lot more commercial success thanks to better production

LEGAL ISSUES

  • 10/1991 - $10 million settlement for his brutal beating for jaywalking
  • 11/1993 - rape charge, appealed
  • Served 120 days for violating terms of release of bail

MUSICAL SUCESS

  • Both his next two solo albums All Eyez on Me and Me Against the world went platinum
  • These two albums are acclaimed as two beset rap albums both selling over 75 million copies worldwide

East coast v West coast

  • 11/30/1994- Visited B.I.g. At Quad Recording studio and ambushed and shot 5 times
  • Biggie Smalls and his producer Sean diddy combs said they had nothing to do with the attack , but Pac blamed them
  • He released a diss song towards them called ''hit me up'' 5 days after releasing himself out of hospital after the shooting

ACTING CAREER

DEATH

  • After we released from prison after alleged sexual assaults, He changed his stage name to Makaveli. He released his fifth and finial album ''The Dom Killiminati: the 7 day theory
  • He died shortly before the release of his album in a drive by shorty in Las Vegas

INFLUENCES

  • Influenced many rappers such as nas, eminem, jay-z, j.cole, Kendrick lamar
  • Help change rap from just rhymes to putting more passion into each track and telling a story almost like poetry
  • Almost any rapper would say that either Tupac or biggie Smalls inspired them
