Climate
The climate of the New England colonies and the Southern colonies were the opposite. New England was cold with harsh winters and the Southern colonies were hot
The Middle colonies were in a mix they were hot and they were cold.
Economy
New England colonies they fish, ship ,do ship building, and whaling because they are close to the ocean.In land they do forestry, and trading.

The Middle Colonies grow wheat, they consider them them the Bread Basket.
Southern Colonies
They grew crops to sale them/cash crops. Another word is agriculture.
Growing Season
New England colonies were long seasons because it was cold. In Middle Colonies it was long and short because it was hot and cold. In the Southern Colonies they were long because it was hot.
Labor Force
In the Southern Colonies there were slaves because it was a big colony and they had to force slaves to work for them.
Soil
The soil in New England the soil was rocky and they couldn't grow crops. In the Middle their soil was rocky and fertile. In the Southern the soil was fertile soil to grow crops.
Reasons Founded
In New England Massachusetts, Rhode Island,and Connecticut were founded for religious freedom. New Hampshire was for Farming.

In the Middle Colonies New York and Delaware they trade , in Pensilvania was for religious freedom, in New Jersey they farmed, and traded.
Reasons founded
In Southern Colonies Maryland was for religion, Georgia was a debtors colony, North California and South California were for profit/ trading, Virginia they grew tobacco.
