I believe that the theme for this book is for pushing through hard times and always know that there will be a friend to help you get through these hard times. Like Hassan. He helped Colin get over his heartbreak and start a new chapter in his life before he had to go off and get a job and become an adult. He gave Colin some memory's that will last forever.

Introduction

Colin singleton is a genius and has only one type of women that he likes to date. Katherine's. Colin has dated 19. 4 thought boys were gross, 9 just wanted to be friends and 19 broke his heart. After the 19th Katharine Hassan, Colin's best friend, decided to try and cheer him up by a road trip before the summer ends and they have to go to collage. They then arrived in gut shot Texas, the place where Lindsey lee wells lived. As long as Lindsey was there Colin wasn't leaving.
