The copyright protects novels,computer programmes,plays, sheet music, and paintings. Generally the author of a copyright work has the right to reproduce, publish, perform, communicate and adapt his work.
This protection must last for at least the life of the author plus 50 years, and must be author attic without the need for the author to take only legal steps to preserve the copyright.
