SIZE AND WEIGHT

  • Small side
  • (91cm)in length
  • The average size is (20-30) feet

COLORS AND PATTERNS

  • They are Red, yellow/white,and black.
  • The bright color of the coral snake warn that it is highly poisonous.
  • Their colors are brilliant,consisting of large red and black bands with small yellow bands
  • The coral snake has strips big black and red ones and small white ones sometimes small yellow ones

HEAD.

  • Round pupils
  • A blunt head
  • And no heat sensing pits
  • The head is normally black

DIET.

  • They eat frogs,lizards.
  • And small reptiles.
  • They are cannibalistic and will eat other coral snakes

POISON AND BITE

  • Venom of the coral snake is the second most toxic to humans
  • It is the only poisoness snake with a round head
  • They have the tendency to hold onto a victim when biting
  • They only bite humans when stepped on or handled

EGGS

  • The coral snake lays a clutch of 2 to 3 eggs in the Summer
  • The eggs are 7 inches
