CANADA

The Core Region

POPULATION

The majority of people in Canada live in the Core Region, the most populous cities being Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal.

LANGUAGE

In the province of Ontario, the main language is English. In Quebec, it is French. Portugese, Chinese, and Italian, among other languages, are also spoken.

CLIMATE

The Core Region, despite being the ecumene, is still excessively cold, with the average July temperature being a toasty 63 degrees Fahrenheit. The southern area is classified as a Humid Continental climate.

BUILDINGS

In the Core Region, buildings are heavily based off of British and French architecture, with the Parliament buildings being an example of Gothic Revival design.

ECONOMICS

The Core Region houses the majority of Canada's factories. It's farming industry also produces 1/3 of Canada's farmed goods, partly because the majority of the Core Region is in the ecumene.
