STEP 1: GATHER MATERIALS

  • Carnation
  • Leather leaf
  • Filler flower
  • Tape
  • Wire

STEP 2: PREPARE FLOWERS

  • Cut carnation at node
  • Prepare two pieces of leather leaf getting rid of excess leaves
  • Cut filler flower for background
  • Prepare wire
  • Prepare tape

STEP 3: WIRING AND TAPING

  • Place wire thru calyx of carnation
  • Tape wire to stem using floral tape
  • Place leatherleaf in rear of flower and tape
  • Place filler flower around flower and tape
  • Arrangment/move filler to look pleasing to eye
