CLIMATE🌺

  • A warm and charming country!
  • Costa Rica is located between 8 and 12 degrees north of the equator.
  • The climate is TROPICAL all year round.

COSTA RICANS

  • Language-Most costa ricas speak Spanish. Hola🌴(hi)
  • The population of Costa Rica is 4.872 million .
  • Clothing- It's common to see both men and women wearing light-weight pants in Costa Rica. Skirts and dresses are also common for women to wear; just be sure that the length hits your knee. The only time it's customary for Costa Ricans to wear shorts is at the beach.
  • They eat-Rice and beans are included in nearly every Costa Rican meal even breakfast. Potatoes are another Costa Rican staple part of the starch-rich Tico diet. Pork and beef are the most commonly eaten meats, but chicken and fish dishes are also available.

ENTERTAINMENT

  • Music- they listen to folk music, classical, and jazz.
  • Sports- football(soccer) is the Costa Ricans most popular sport.

  • 1. Costa Ricans call themselves Ticos and Ticas. 2. Costa Rica is slightly smaller than Lake Michigan. 3. There are 800 miles of coastline, both on the Atlantic and Pacific. 4. Costa Rica border Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south. 5. It only takes up .03% of planet’s surface but holds 5% of its biodiversity!
