COSTA RICAN HOLIDAYS

  • Second Sunday of March is Dia de Los Boyeros. It is a parade of colorful handmade and painted with oxcarts
  • that also include driving competitions surrounded by dancing, food, and traditional costumes.
  • On July 25th it is Guanacaste Day in Costa Rica. It is celebrated for the annexation of Guanacaste,
  • Highlights include bullfights, rodeos, dancing, topes, and other parades and parties all around the province.
  • On November 2nd it is All Souls' Day in Costa Rica. It is where people visit cemeteries to leave flowers for loved ones.

  • Some weigh from 16 pounds to a ton. They areMade from granodioriate, and stone.
  • Another artifact is jade, it is a type of metal like jewelry. They put jade on necklaces and bracelets.

  • ZIPLINE AT EGOGLIDE CANOPY, AT THE BASE IF ARENAL VOLCANOE.
  • Another thing to do is snorkeling at a small island called Isla del Caño.

  • White water rafting is one of the best things to do in Costa Rica.
  • The best place to go is Pacuare River, because it is dangerous
  • You will want to go rappelling or canyoning if you want to see the wilderness.
  • This is great to get outdoors and too see the waterfalls.
