PRESENTATION OUTLINE
-Chirripo National Park-
Cerro Chirripo, the country's tallest mountain is how this park got its name.
This park has: treeless mountain plateaus, fern groves, marshlands, lush rain forests, and glacial lakes.
Interesting attractions:
La Amistad International Park Cloudforest, Rabbit Valley, Monte Sin Fe, and Cerro Terbi.
Natural Features:
Craters, vapor vents, bubbling mud pits, hot springs, lagoons, mud cauldrons, waterfalls, and boiling mud pots.
MONTEVERDE CLOUDFOREST RESERVE
Attractions:
Horseback riding, hiking, canopy tours (over the treetops), & zip-lining through the jungle.
Types of animals:
Tapirs, agoutis, frogs, wild pigs, monkeys, porcupines, butterflies, and rare resplendent quetzal (Just a small sampling of all of the wildlife).
Culebra Bay inhabits Playa Nacascola beach. On the northwest side is the Gulf of Papagayo.
MUSEO DE ORO PRE-COLOMBINO
There are more than a thousand different Columbian artifacts.
It has numerous archaeological objects.
