COLOR

• The color of the coyote's pelt varies from grayish
• brown and yellowish gray on the upper parts
• while the neck and belly tend to have a
• whiter color. The forelegs, sides of the head, and
• muzzle is brown.

PREY

• Coyotes generally are fierce during summer and
• spring, normally defending itself against predators
• but sometimes it may become prey to wolves
• bear, and mountail lions.

Mating season begins in January - March and even early April.

• Coyoted have life long mating partners

• Insects, snakes, fruit, grass, and carrion.
• Sometimes will kill lambs, calves, or other live stock.
• Because of this they are considered a constructive animal.
