YOU SHOULD GIVE CPR WHEN...

WAYS TO SAVE A PERSONS LIFE IN AN EMERGENCY

  • Chest compressions
  • Breaths
  • AED

CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY

  • If you confirm someone is in an emergency situation, call 911 immediately.
  • After calling 911, begin CPR.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • Child and adult CPR have slight differences.
  • If one is choking, give thrusts just above the belly button.
  • Gasping is a sign of cardiac arrest.
  • The first compressions are the most effective.
  • AED's are an easy and accurate way to get the heart to start beating again.
