The authors purpose is to entertain the reader with with the game of football while showing it in a teenagers point of view.
The authors point of view is that he likes football. "I am going to beat you at interceptions this year, I can feel it. You are on for $100. Zach says." (6)
"Time slows as I focus on what's in front of me. The wideout lines up in front of me with his hands by his face like a boxer. I want to knock him out already." (16)
My book is about a kid named Miles Manning who is very good at football even with many challenges. He really likes a girl but doesn't really know how to approach her.
Where the book mostly develops is at the football field and at his home.
The book takes place during Miles' teenage years in high school.
I believe the book was wrote to show the challenges in a teenagers life. The main character develops throughout the story and overcomes his problems.
I would recommend this book to my classmates. It has not been made into a film or TV show but I believe it would make a good one. John Coy has several other books that he has wrote.
