ALGONQUIN CREATION MYTH

This story is about a mother and her two sons Glooskap and Malsum

AFTER THE MOTHER DIED

• Malsum became evil, and killed glooskap
• Glooskap rose from the dead
• He knew malsum would still plot against him
• Glooskap realized he had had no chance but to destroy malsum
• Glooskap called Malsum to the stream he was by, pulled a root up and threw it at malsum

He hit Malsum in the head with the roots, and Malsum dropped to the ground dead.

The message of the story is
Good v/s evil
