  • What is Copyright?
  • anyone producing any product or idea has the right to determine if the product should be manipulated in any form.
  • the owner has the right to allow people to use or deny them access if he/she chooses.

Published work may be FAIR USE depending on a few things:
Purpose (Educational)
Amount of Whole
Nature of Work
Effect on the Market Value




Creative Commons

  • Persons are allowed to provide permissions to their work.
  • Permissions can be granted through a Creative Commons License
  • Once a license is established, the owner of the work can give anyone with access the correct amount of access to their published work.
