Housing

  • There were actually two sections in the Cree tribe, there was they Woodland Crees and the Plain Crees.
  • The woodland Cree made their homes from wooden poles covered with animal hides, bark, or sod.

Food

  • The Cree tribe would go hunting, fishing, and farming.
  • The Cree tribe would cook and dry their foods to make soup, however they would hunt and gather their foods before Winter.
  • Crees would hunt buffalo,elk,deer,rabbits,pemmican, and caribous

Clothing

  • Woman in the Cree tribe would wear long dresses with removable sleeves
  • The Cree tribe or men would wear shirts and leggings during the cold season, they also wore warm robes or cloaks for cold/rainy days.

Daily Life

  • Cree children didn't had more chores to do than play time.
  • Children had to attend school and obtain a basic education.
  • Men were required to hunt and fish to feed the family.
  • Women had to take care of the family and had to gather plants to eat snd hebs for medicine.
