SIGNS & SYMPTOMS
- Stunted growth
- Abnormal bone formation
- Mental retardation
- Low body temperature
- Overall slugishness

TREATMENT
- Thyroid hormone replacement therapy
- Early treatment is a must to reduce intellectual disabilities
- Levothyroxine is safe and effective and pills can be crushed
- Introduce iodine rich diet when age appropriate
- Monitor thru blood test, thyroid scans and ultrasonography
