CROHN'S DISEASE TREATMENTS
Anti-diarrheal medicine: Loperamide is an example of this which slows or stops painful spasms in your intestines.
Corticosteroids: Given by the mouth to control inflammation.
Mesalamine: This medication helps manage symptoms so they won't worsen.
Biologics: These types of treatments are only used when other major treatments haven't worked and is also used to treat fistulas.
