PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The Crusades was one of the main reasons why Europe started to 'turn corner'. During this time they achieved building grand cathedrals. However, there was many suffering moments influenced by the Catholic Church. They planned attacks on Jerusalem to reclaim the Birth Place of Jesus (Holy Land) from the Muslims.
The Crusaders came in contact with the Arab World, bringing back great inventions. Such as algebra, and they managed to translate Greek classics.
The Crusaders also reconnected the Silk Roads bringing in amazing goods like silk and spices, lateen sails, the compass, paper for printing, and gunpowder for guns.
