When Grace and Marty O'Hara find out their parents, famed journalists Timothy and Sylvia O'Hara have been in a helicopter crash, they are sent from their boarding school to their uncle with one problem- they have never heard about him before.
Soon they learn that their uncle searches for cryptids like Bigfoot. He has to take them back to their boarding school because he is going to the Congo with his friend, Dr. Laurel Lee, to search more for their parents. As they are flying back in his bomber jet, they fall out of the supply hatch trying to catch their uncles bonobo chimp.

So they fall out, holding onto the canister of supply's, trying not to die. Grace faints, and Marty has to control the canister. He lands in the water, but the canister floats away with Grace. When she wakes up, she follows a grey parrot, thinking it will lead her to her parents. Marty goes after her, and finally finds her. Their Uncle Wolfe calls them, and tells them to go to the Skyhouse.
But little do they know, Noah Blackwood, millionaire and liar, has his right hand man Butch M'Call after them. When Marty & Grace get to the Skyhouse, they are greeted by some bats. They clear some of the bats away, and fall asleep. When they wake up, Marty goes outside to get the pack of supplies, but Butch M'Call knows where they are, and comes after them.
While Marty is outside, Grace discovers a life changing secret about her. But Butch M'Call catches her, and knocks her out. Marty comes back to find no one except him and Bo the bonobo chimp. Grace is at Butch's camp, and heals a French man after she learns he got in a fight with a gorilla.
Marty meets Masolito, one of Wolfe's friends. He helps save Grace, and when Grace and Marty are together, and running from Butch, they find another secret that changes everything. Then Butch finds them, and is about to kill them when Wolfe and Laurel Lee step in. A helicopter then sets down, and out comes Noah Blackwood.
They threaten Noah and Butch with the secret things, and Wolfe's cook, Bertha, comes in. She knows more than 100 ways to kill a man, but she just ties Noah and Butch up. Then they steal Noah's helicopter, and fly back to Wolfe's home. But they don't know that Noah is even angrier, and will come back to get his revenge.
