Cubism History
It was one of the most influential visual art styles of the early twentieth century.
Created by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque between 1907-1914 in Paris
The term named after french critic Louis Vauxcelles saw Braque's landscape
Vauxcelles called the geometric objects highly abstracted "cubes"
Cubists rejected ideas of painting nature, instead 2 dimensional canvases
