How Do We Start?

Connected to Intervention Theory
Intervention Theory:
Valid & Useful Information
Free Choice
Internal Commitment

But as you can see from the video, there is tremendous strength in social conformity, even if the "useful information" does not seem present. The woman stands without being told to do so, and she has a choice about whether to conform. She chooses to do as others do w/o knowing why, other than that not conforming "feels wrong" and she goes on to teach newcomers to follow her behaviors, although they are not "rational."

So we need to go DEEP when assessing and seeking to change culture.
Name Artifacts--Ways of Working
Define Espoused Values--what are our stated philosophies & justifications? What are those Deeper Assumptions? Are they still relevant and useful in both adapting to External Environment and maintaining Internal Integrity?
