THE ITALIAN FLAG

  • On the right is green, it represents the plains and hills.
  • In the middle is white, it represents the mountains.
  • On the right is red, it represents the wars for independence.

HE IS THE PRESIDENT.

THE CAPITAL

  • Rome.
  • The capital is historically important because it is Rome.

THE MONEY

  • They use the Euro.
  • They used the Lire before the Euro.

HISTORY

  • In 509bc the Roman Republic was formed.
  • In 29bc Rome became an empire.
  • In 480AD Rome was sacked by Barbarians and the empire fell.

FOODS

  • Pizza. We all know what this is.
  • 650 different types of pasta from agnoloti to ziti.
  • Asiago cheese.

What I learned
I learned that Pizza is really Italian. Another thing is that there are 650 different types of pastas. I also learned what the colors of the flag mean. As well as Italy has a president.
Some more things I learned are Italy uses the Euro. Italy used to use something called a lire. The capital city of Italy is Rome. The Roman Empire fell after it was raided by barbarians. That is all I have learned.
