PRO/CON: SHOULD THE U.S. SEND WEAPONS TO THE UKRAINE?

Summary: the Ukraine is being invaded by the russian military and they are asking the U.S. for weapons. If the U.S. does, there will be consequences.

PROS:

• We will be able to stop bloodshed quickly
• We will have better ties with the Ukraine in the future
• We can stop Russian president Putin from bringing back the soviet union
• We can stop Putin from taking over other countries such as Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

CONS

• WWIII could begin
• Spending money on other countries when we have debt
• If the weapons are destroyed the second they get there, that's $350,000,000 for nothing
• The little to no ties that we have with Russia will break
• The Ukraine might turn the weapons agianst us
