HIS THEORY
- All mater is made up of atoms,indestructible
- All atoms of a given element are the "same "
- Compounds form when 2 or more different types of atoms bond chemically
- Atoms are not destroyed during chemical reaction,they are just rearranged
DALTONS MODEL OF THE ATOM
- Dalton believed that all matter was made of small things that he called atoms
- This wasn't a new concept as the ancient Greeks believed that all matter is composed of small objects that can not be divided
