IN 1835 CHARLES DARWIN WENT TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS. AND FOUND TORTUOUS.

IN 1836 CHARLES COLLECT INSECTS, FROGS, AND PLANTS.

GALAPAGOS TORTOISE
The tortoises have adapted to have big shells so they can get to food easier
It can go a year without food and water
They are the largest living tortoises
They eat prickly pear cactus and fruits and vines
