IN 1835 CHARLES DARWIN WENT TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS. AND FOUND TORTUOUS.

IN 1836 CHARLES COLLECT INSECTS, FROGS, AND PLANTS.
GALAPAGOS TORTOISE
- The tortoises have adapted to have big shells so they can get to food easier
- It can go a year without food and water
- They are the largest living tortoises
- They eat prickly pear cactus and fruits and vines
